Day 1 : Fez –Azrou – Medilt –Todra Gorges

We will travel from Todra gorges to Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we will feel the beginning of the Saharan Oasis of Tafilalt

was an economic, cultural, and spiritual bridge between Sub-Sahara, North Africa,​ and Europe from the other side. For centuries caravans met in Sijilmassa which served as an opulent​ port trading center between the two continents.

Such a strategic position makes of the town of Sijilmassa and all the Ksours within Tafilalet Oasis an important gathering. A source for cultural and spiritual influence with other sides of Morocco like Fez, Marrakech, and Tangier. Also with other capitals deeper south like Chenguit in Mauritania and Timbuktu in Mali.

And then continue to Merzouga. There we will go to ride the camels in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. It is a great experience to imagine yourself riding a camel in erg Chebbi where the silence of the desert is dominating then anything else. Before we reach the camp, we will leave the camels and walk to a high dune to see the sunset. Dinner will be served under a Berber tent with Berber drums music.

Day 3 : Merzouga –Ziz Valley –Fes

After an early sunrise, you will have breakfast then be ready back by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga. Then we will start our tour back to Fes where the ends of our 3 Days Desert Trip services.
